An IT breakfast was held in Pskov, bringing together representatives of the regional IT community
- Industry-specific community
Here and now, the Pskov Region has a powerful innovative potential — the region is home to many companies that implement major federal projects, but there has been no unified platform for productive interaction and development. Therefore, the main goal of the IT Breakfast is to create a specialized industry community of leading players in the regional IT market, which will serve as a unified voice for the industry in direct communication with the government and business customers. This event is the first step in a series of events organized by the Committee.
«This event was not just a meeting, but a real breakthrough for the region: 42 participants, lively discussions, important debates, and the realization that Pskov has a strong IT potential. We see that we have a lot of strong companies, developers, integrators, and entrepreneurs, but we still don’t have a platform where they can interact, find partners, and solve problems together. We are now creating such a community, and it is crucial for the future of the region. We are not just getting to know each other — we are creating a foundation for new projects, initiatives, and development strategies”, — said Evgeny Nadbnikov, Chairman of the Information Technology Committee of Opora Rossii.
During the IT breakfast, participants were able to meet the region’s leading IT experts and discuss relevant topics, including the use of artificial intelligence, augmented reality, business process automation, modern technologies in education, data center creation, and more.
Among the speakers: Evgeny Murzanaev (Guru Eds), Tatyana Uzlova (TOP Computer Academy), Victoria Zaretskaya (Quantorium Pskov), Denis Polubelov (INFOCOM), Irina Khvan (HASHDOG digital agency), Sergey Burovtsev (Concept Development), Yulia Petrova (CoffeeStudio), Anton Moskvitin (Avato-AI) and Evgeny Nadobnikov (enDesign).
- Vitaly Rakhmanov, Head of the Department of Digital Development and Communications of the Government of the Pskov Region;
- Anastasia Ivanova, Director of the My Business Center in Pskov;
- Vladimir Kompaniets, Manager of the Pskov branch of the North-Western Bank of Sberbank.
Their participation highlighted the importance of IT development for the region and the significance of business strategic partnerships with both the government and each other.
Thus, the IT breakfast became the starting point for the formation of a professional IT community in the Pskov region. The participants unanimously noted that such events were lacking, and the consolidation of the IT business was a long-overdue initiative. The IT Committee of the PRO “Opora Rossii” has already planned further meetings, foresight sessions, and educational initiatives that will help the region become a center of technological development.
